James Morrison: Songs for You, Truths for Me - Expressing the Experiences
James Morrison was influenced by music from a very young age. His debut album, Undiscovered -- debuted at the top of the UK Album chart. "Songs for You, Truths for Me" is the second album by English singer, songwriter and guitarist James Morrison.
There is a succession of songs from "The Only Night" through the "Broken Strings" that carries the expressions of a relationship. The Tracks like The Only Night," emphasis the two people, who steal away together and "You Make It Real," reveals that the singer speaks to his better half who is helping him through tough times. These tracks are followed by "Please Don't Stop the Rain" and "Broken Strings', which reveals the unbroken relationship that, lasts until the end of the affair.

Moreover, the track -- "Broken Strings," is a duet with Nelly Furtado about a bad breakup. This is followed by "Nothing ever hurt like you", which moves along at a steady clip as Morrison's bluesy voice express the pain of moving on when a relationship gets broken. The rest of the tacks in the album -- Songs for You, Truths for Me, repeat the progression a bit with "Once When I Was Little" pondering on when the world was a simpler place. Followed by "Precious Love", trying to find a new impact that may not have worked and also seems likely based on the melancholic music "If You Don't Wanna Love Me."
Finally, the album ends with the track -- "Love Is Hard", revealing a realized truth that love gives pain. In this album, James is at his best when he slows things down or sticks to the music with elements of rhythm and blues.
